If you have been lifting weights or exercising for any length of time, then you know how incredibly hungry you are after a long workout. You want nothing more than to ruin all of your sweet gainz with a monster pizza and about 100 cookies.

But, you know that doing so would be completely counterproductive and therefore opt for a salad, some dry chicken, or brown rice…how exciting.

Your post workout window doesn’t have to be so miserable though. You can have your cake and eat it too. Below, we have included 3 of our super secret protein shake recipes for post workout greatness. Follow the recipe and you will be big, jacked, and no longer craving 24 brownies in no time!

Recipe 1: (Banana Nut) For the Healthiest Dude

For those of you who finish a workout and your first thought is “Ok, where are my paleo, gluten free, low fat, skinny muffins??”

This is for you.

This recipe has the least amount of sugar and the most nutritious bang for your buck.

Ingredients

-1 Banana
-2 Scoops of Isopure Creamy Vanilla Protein Powder
-1 scoop of Isopure Cranberry Grape Aminos
-2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
-1 handful of Almonds
-1/4 Cup of Oats
-1 Cup of Whole Milk
-1 handful of ice
-2 Tbsp of Honey or Organic Maple Syrup

Procedure

-Put in blender and blend…really that’s it

Recipe 2: (Berry Good) For the Reasonably Healthy Dude

If you are looking for something full of nutrients that is sweet and will stave off your cravings for a mountain of cookies, this is the protein shake for you.

With 3 scoops of ice cream, some tasty fruit, protein, and BCAAs, this shake will leave you feeling full, happy, and maybe a little sugar buzzed…but hey your muscles will still be thanking you!

-2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
-1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
-1 handful of strawberries
-1 banana
