The MenProvement Podcast: Episode 115
“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes” — Benjamin Franklin
This is not your typical podcast but it is an unavoidable one. Certainly in countries such as the US and the UK, between 20-40% of all the money you make will be lost to taxes. Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad (the best selling financial book of all time), says, ‘the tax laws were written for the rich, by the rich.
Especially for younger guys who are maybe just starting out it is going to be very important that you understand the basics of the tax laws so that you not only avoid getting in allot of trouble, but so you can save as much money as possible to reinvest into travel, your education or your savings.
On this podcast you will learn:
– How taxes are relevant in entrepreneurship
– How to have a better financial situation
– How to save $1000’s in taxes
– How to have greater awareness of your finances
– A deeper understanding of how money and the monetary system works
– How to save money on a consistent basis
The goal of this podcast was to make the subject of taxes more relevant and less frightening for anyone who is not currently paying attention to this subject. While we do not offer any legal or tax advice in this podcast, it is our hope that you will have a solid understanding of the basics so that you feel good about tackling your own financial situation.
You will realise that this is a very easy area of your life to handle, with huge payouts if you just put in a little time to become more aware (which you are doing by listening to this podcast). And unfortunately, there are huge downsides that come from not correctly handling your taxes.
The average person likely has no clue what they are talking about when it comes to taxes so we want you to be ahead of the game and not to just be a sheep following poor information from people that know very little.
Find a good tax lawyer in your town who you would feel comfortable working with. By the end of this podcast you’ll have a much clearer idea of how to talk with him and what you should talk about in order to ensure your financial security and build a the habits that will lead to success.
