Building a solid wardrobe is tough. The infographic below can help.
Some key things to building to perfect wardrobe before diving in:
1) Quality over quantity
We recommend buying fewer quality clothes over a whole bunch of cheap outfits. You don’t need a lot of clothes. You just need a few essentials (shown below). Yes, it will be more expensive, in the short run. Quality clothes will last longer, and you won’t need to buy as many; so in a year or 2, it will even out. I bought so many quality clothes last year so I haven’t had to spend a dime on clothes this year. Cheap shirts not only grow old in feel, but they grow old in your mind. Quality over quantity.
2) Take your time
It can take a week or it can take 2 years to build a new, well picked wardrobe. It depends on your income. So don’t feel like you have to go out tomorrow and pick up an entire wardrobe.
Piecing your wardrobe together takes time. One nice shirt this month, you may see an awesome pair of jeans next month. And while your bank account won’t be draining, in a year or 2 you will have a solid wardrobe, with quality, long lasting clothes.
Have a look below, take in mind the first two keys, and get started.
