The moustache is back and better than ever with the launch of the 2015 Movember campaign. The Movember Foundation, the team that brings back the moustache each year to raise funds and awareness about men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity, recently launched this year’s registration drive at

If growing a moustache isn’t your thing, there is a new way to participate – no facial hair needed! Participants can sign up to #MOVE4Movember. MOVE is a 30-day fitness challenge that presents a new way for supporters to participate in the movement and raise critical funds for men’s health programs.

“We are excited to bring back the moustache in 2015 and introduce MOVE, a new way for men and women to participate in the Movember campaign, raise funds and continue the dialogue about men’s health. Now more than ever we need to increase awareness of the state of men’s health. Too many men don’t talk, don’t take action and die too young,” said Mark Hedstrom, U.S. Country Director at the Movember Foundation.

Hedstrom continued by noting that the Foundation’s aim is to not only start conversations about men’s health issues but to also encourage men worldwide to prioritize their health.

Simply put, men are dying too young and the statistics continue to be sobering. Did you know that in the U.S. a man dies every 19.1 minutes from prostate cancer and a new case occurs every 2.4 minutes? Even more sobering and even less talked about, every day 87 men commit suicide in the United States, translating to 31,755 deaths each year, almost the capacity of a college football stadium.

These stats alone offer more reason to participate in the campaign this year. So grow your Mo, give or MOVE for Movember by registering at
