Working out should never feel like a chore.
To me, this is the problem that a lot of people have. They aren’t into sports and they just hate the idea of putting in constant work day after day week after week.
Even though it contains the word, working out doesn’t have to be that way. It should be fun.
Luckily, I met Sergeant Michael Volkin in the past few weeks and he showed me a new way to have fun while working out.
Michael is the inventor of Strength Stack 52 fitness cards. His product brings the fun of card games and the intensity of a solid workout together in one sleek, versatile package.
I was fortunate enough to have received a strength stack from Michael 4 weeks ago and have been using them consistently now for a month.
Here’s what I think.
Strength Stack 52 first impressions
Upon receiving the cards I didn’t know what to expect. I have never seen a set of fitness cards before & I didn’t know what Michael was all about about. There are a lot of entrepreneurs who pitch me and send me stuff, and a lot of them are crap.
But when I opened the cards I was really impressed. They are very professional & very good looking. They looked so cool, I almost didn’t want to mess them up by throwing them around a gym floor!
And I wouldn’t recommend anything on here that I wouldn’t put my own name behind.
These cards, and Michael, are the real deal.
Strength Stack 52 details
The cards are great. There durable, sleek & versatile. Take a look at the picture to the left for a closer look at the anatomy of a card.
1) The exercises range from beginner to ridiculously difficult. (There are special decks for insane exercises)
2) You can scan them on your phone to see a video of how to do the exercises. This is key.
3) The games are actually fun. I didn’t know what to expect. How fun could a card fitness game be, right? But my friends and I actually got really intense and competitive while playing. It was a blast.
3 fun games you can play with Strength Stack 52 & what I thought of them.
The whole point of strength stack 52 fitness cards is to have fun with your workout. That’s why Michael created them.
With each deck comes a list of games with instructions to get your ass in shape. They are actually really fun.
These two were my favorite.
Get a deck of Strength Stack 52 exercise playing cards. Grab a buddy or two (or three) and deal all the cards in the deck equally to each player. Once all the cards are dealt, each player throws one card in the center of all the players, the person who threw the highest card wins that round and doesn’t have to do the exercises on the cards. Every other player must do all the exercises on each card thrown. Proceed through the whole deck….if you can make it.
I did this workout with my two buddies last week. And it was actually pretty hilarious. I didn’t expect too much at first but it got really intense. Before I knew it everyone was laughing, getting ready for the next throw & having a great time.
This is what it’s all about.
2) Flick Em
This game can be played with either the Strength Stack or a regular deck of cards. The goal is to get the most points. Each player has one bowl about 6 feet in front of them.
Shuffle the cards and deal the deck evenly among the players. Turn your cards face up. Now try and flick the cards in the bowl. After your cards are all thrown, count your points. If you are playing by yourself, try and beat your personal record. You may choose to do the exercises you missed, or do the exercises you threw in the bowl. The exercise you choose is up to you. So if you threw 28 points into the bowl, you can choose to do 28 push-up, sit-ups or burpees. This game gives you a proper break (while throwing the cards) between each exercise set.
I played this alone and chose to do the exercises I missed. Which was a lot!
I was knackered after this and felt great.
The best part was the next day I was amped up to beat my old score. Which I did. And had another great workout.
Check out the full list of games here.
The best part
I have to mention the fact that the cards are scan able to your iPhone. When you scan the card, a YouTube video pops up to show you how to do the exercise.
This is what sold me. Cuz when I dealt the Jump back Push Up I was like ehh? (Yes, the cards have some really challenging moves) But all I had to do was scan the card to see exactly what I had to do. Really impressive.
So who should check out Strength Stack 52?
Anyone who is looking to get in shape but hates the thought going to run for 20 minutes straight. I bet 75%’s eyes just lit up there.
But seriously, these cards are a lot of fun.
Grab some friends and have a good time. It’s the best exercise you can get.
